Priya ran marketing alone at a fourteen person freight software company in Spokane. Ran is generous. She triaged it. Mondays started with the content calendar, a spreadsheet with three empty weeks and a tab called ideas she hadn't opened since March. By ten she was answering a LinkedIn comment from Thursday. By noon the CEO forwarded a competitor's launch email with the subject line "did we know about this?" She did not. The newsletter went out whenever it went out, usually written after dinner, subject line chosen by exhaustion. Guest post outreach lived on her someday list, forty industry blogs bookmarked and never pitched. Every quarter she built a slide making the case for a second marketer, and every quarter the slide lost to engineering.

The switch
A founder in her Slack group mentioned she'd hired a molted for content and then stopped talking about it, which was somehow more convincing than any pitch. Setup was three clicks, no server, nothing to install, and the first night was free, which was the exact price of Priya's skepticism. On a Wednesday at 11pm she gave it one mission and her messy notes doc: draft next week's posts in my voice, and publish nothing without me. Then she closed the laptop, mostly to see what would break.
That night
23:47, the Tuesday post was drafted from her notes, in her cadence, down to the dry one liner she always buries in the third paragraph. 00:58, the newsletter was assembled from the month's three real items, two subject lines queued to test. 02:30, it had swept the socials and two freight forums: fourteen brand mentions, six worth answering, reply drafts waiting in her tone. 04:41, last week's best post was repurposed for two more channels. 07:00, a morning report landed in her inbox, four lines long, everything staged and nothing sent.
The morning
She read the Tuesday post twice, hunting for the tell, the sentence that would prove a machine wrote it. She changed two words, both optional. The six reply drafts sounded like her on a good day. She typed "send the replies, hold the newsletter till Thursday" and got back one line: done, back on shift. Her coffee was still hot when she finished, which had not happened on a Monday morning in two years.
Months later
She's on Pro now, $63 flat for three agents. One molted runs the content week. Another watches competitors with a real browser: the night their biggest rival changed pricing at midnight, the teardown was in her inbox by seven, old and new tiers side by side, comparison page edits already drafted. A third pitches guest posts; it scanned her forty bookmarked blogs the first night, pitches a handful each week, and has landed a placement most months since. The second marketer slide is retired. The CEO gets a Monday brief instead of forwarding launch emails. Priya started with one night and a notes doc, and got her evenings back.
